Mfungaji wa bao pekee la Yanga katika mchezo wa jana, Simon Msuva.

TIMU ya soka ya Yanga jana ilimaliza mechi zake za viporo vyema kwa ushindi na kurejea kileleni mwa msimamo wa Ligi Kuu Tanzania Bara. Yanga iliibuka na ushindi wa bao 1-0 dhidi ya Mtibwa Sugar Uwanja wa Taifa, Dar es Salaam, ikiwa ni mchezo wake wa mwisho wa viporo vyake vitatu ilivyokuwa navyo.

Jumatano Yanga iliifunga Mwadui ya Shinyanga mabao 2-1 katika uwanja huohuo na kabla ya hapo Yanga iliifunga pia Kagera Sugar mabao 3-1. Kutokana na matokeo ya jana, Yanga imefikisha pointi 59 na imechupa kutoka nafasi ya pili hadi ya kwanza ikiiengua Simba yenye pointi 57.

Timu zote zimecheza mechi 24. Hata hivyo Simba inaweza ikarejea kileleni tena leo kama itashinda mchezo wake wa raundi ya 25 dhidi ya Toto Africans utakaofanyika Uwanja wa Taifa Dar es Salaam.

Bao pekee la Yanga katika mchezo huo lilifungwa dakika ya 47 na Simon Msuva kwa shuti la mbali kutokana na mpira wa adhabu ndogo aliopasiwa na Haruna Niyonzima. Adhabu hiyo ilitokana na beki Andrew Vicent kumchezea madhambi Deus Kaseke wa Yanga.

Yanga itajilaumu kwa ushindi mwembamba kutokana na kupoteza nafasi kadhaa za kufunga, ambazo washambuliaji wake wakiongozwa na Donald Ngoma walishindwa kuzitumia.

Nayo Mtibwa ilipata nafasi za kufunga, lakini umaliziaji ulikuwa butu kwa kushindwa kulenga lango ama kupiga mipira dhaifu iliyodakwa na kipa Deogratias Munishi ‘Dida’. Kipigo hicho kimeifanya Mtibwa ibaki nafasi ya nne ikiwa na pointi 43 kwa michezo 26 iliyocheza.

Yanga sasa itaelekea nchini Misri kwa ajili ya kurudiana na Al Ahly Jumatano mchezo wa Ligi ya Mabingwa Afrika, ambapo mchezo wa kwanza uliofanyika Jumamosi wiki iliyopita Dar es Salaam timu hizo zilifungana bao 1-1. Yanga: Deogratius Munishi ‘Dida’, Juma Abdul, Oscar Joshua, Kevin Yondan/Malimi Busungu, Nadir Haroub ‘Cannavaro’, Vincent Bossou, Simon Msuva, Thabani Kamusoko, Donald Ngoma, Haruna Niyonzima na Deus Kaseke/ Amissi Tambwe.

Didier Drogba akaribisha uchunguzi

Jose Mourinho is so adamant he will be Manchester United manager next season that he has lined up a move for £70million striker Gonzalo Higuain, writes Tom Hopkinson in the Sunday People.

Napoli rate Argentina international Higuain, who has already scored 32 goals for them this season, so highly they have slapped a £95m valuation on him.

But with only two years left on the 28-year-old's current deal, the Serie A title challengers are likely to drop the figure.

Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss Mourinho told French champions Paris Saint-Germain and close friends last week that he WILL take over at Old Trafford in the summer.

Louis van Gaal is not expected to hold onto the job, despite his side’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over West Ham.

And Mourinho is already working on targets, including Higuain and Benfica’s young midfield playmaker Renato Sanches.

The Special One was sacked for a second time by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in December.

But unlike the first time he was dismissed from Stamford Bridge, in 2007, his exit package did not contain a clause forbidding him to work for another English club within two seasons.

Mourinho said during that second spell at Chelsea that if Abramovich dismissed him again he would stay in England, and he has long harboured hopes of managing the Old Trafford giants.

Now he believes he has got his wish with Van Gaal’s roller-coaster two-year reign drawing to an end.

Waamuzi waibana TFF

KAMATI ya Waamuzi wa Shirikisho la Soka Tanzania (TFF), imesema kuwa haikubaliani na maamuzi ya Kamati ya Nidhamu ya kuwasimamisha waamuzi waliochezesha mechi za mwisho za Ligi Daraja la Kwanza kati ya JKT Kanembwa FC dhidi ya Geita Gold na Polisi Tabora dhidi ya JKT Oljoro.

Pia kamati hiyo ipo tayari kuwasaidia waamuzi hao waliosimamishwa wakituhumiwa kupanga matokeo iwapo watakuwa tayari kukata rufaa.

Akizungumza na MTANZANIA Jumamosi, Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya Waamuzi, Salum Chama, alisema kuwa wakati suala hilo likifanyiwa uchunguzi na Kamati ya Nidhamu, hakuna mwamuzi yeyote mkongwe au aliyekuwepo katika kamati yao aliyeitwa ili kutafsiri mipaka na kanuni za kazi zao.

Alisema wao kamati ya waamuzi wamekuja kusikia maamuzi yakitolewa pasipo kushirikishwa jambo ambalo halipo kisheria lakini pia maamuzi yaliyotolewa hayakuwa na haki kwani hakuna ushahidi wa kutosha uliowakamatisha waamuzi hao.

“Kuanzia mwanzo hadi mwisho wa sakata lile hakuna aliyeshirikishwa katika kamati yetu, jambo ambalo kwa upande fulani si haki kwani na sisi tuna sheria na kanuni zetu ambazo tunazitumia uwanjani, lakini pia hadi hivi sasa hakuna ushahidi wa kutosha ni vipi wamekutwa na tuhuma za upangaji matokeo.

“Sisi kamati ya waamuzi, tupo tayari kuwasimamia bega kwa bega  iwapo kama wenyewe wanaona hawakutendewa haki na wakakata rufaa, lakini wakiomba tuwasimamie katika hilo tupo tayari,” alisema Chama.

Hivi karibuni Kamati ya Nidhamu ya TFF chini ya Makamu Mwenyekiti wake Wakili, Jerome Msemwa, iliwafungia maisha kutojihusisha na mpira wa miguu mwamuzi wa mchezo kati ya JKT Kanembwa FC v Geita Gold, Saleh Mang’ola, kamisaa wa mchezo huo, Moshi Juma pamoja na mwamuzi wa mchezo kati ya Polisi Tabora dhidi ya JKT Oljoro, Masoud Mkelemi na mwamuzi wa akiba, Fedian Machunde, waliofungiwa kwa muda wa miaka kumi  pamoja na kutozwa faini ya shilingi milioni kumi kila mmoja baada ya kukutwa na hatia ya upangaji matokeo kwenye michezo hiyo.
