Jose Mourinho is so adamant he will be Manchester United manager next season that he has lined up a move for £70million striker Gonzalo Higuain, writes Tom Hopkinson in the Sunday People.

Napoli rate Argentina international Higuain, who has already scored 32 goals for them this season, so highly they have slapped a £95m valuation on him.

But with only two years left on the 28-year-old's current deal, the Serie A title challengers are likely to drop the figure.

Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss Mourinho told French champions Paris Saint-Germain and close friends last week that he WILL take over at Old Trafford in the summer.

Louis van Gaal is not expected to hold onto the job, despite his side’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over West Ham.

And Mourinho is already working on targets, including Higuain and Benfica’s young midfield playmaker Renato Sanches.

The Special One was sacked for a second time by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in December.

But unlike the first time he was dismissed from Stamford Bridge, in 2007, his exit package did not contain a clause forbidding him to work for another English club within two seasons.

Mourinho said during that second spell at Chelsea that if Abramovich dismissed him again he would stay in England, and he has long harboured hopes of managing the Old Trafford giants.

Now he believes he has got his wish with Van Gaal’s roller-coaster two-year reign drawing to an end.

Waamuzi waibana TFF

KAMATI ya Waamuzi wa Shirikisho la Soka Tanzania (TFF), imesema kuwa haikubaliani na maamuzi ya Kamati ya Nidhamu ya kuwasimamisha waamuzi waliochezesha mechi za mwisho za Ligi Daraja la Kwanza kati ya JKT Kanembwa FC dhidi ya Geita Gold na Polisi Tabora dhidi ya JKT Oljoro.

Pia kamati hiyo ipo tayari kuwasaidia waamuzi hao waliosimamishwa wakituhumiwa kupanga matokeo iwapo watakuwa tayari kukata rufaa.

Akizungumza na MTANZANIA Jumamosi, Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya Waamuzi, Salum Chama, alisema kuwa wakati suala hilo likifanyiwa uchunguzi na Kamati ya Nidhamu, hakuna mwamuzi yeyote mkongwe au aliyekuwepo katika kamati yao aliyeitwa ili kutafsiri mipaka na kanuni za kazi zao.

Alisema wao kamati ya waamuzi wamekuja kusikia maamuzi yakitolewa pasipo kushirikishwa jambo ambalo halipo kisheria lakini pia maamuzi yaliyotolewa hayakuwa na haki kwani hakuna ushahidi wa kutosha uliowakamatisha waamuzi hao.

“Kuanzia mwanzo hadi mwisho wa sakata lile hakuna aliyeshirikishwa katika kamati yetu, jambo ambalo kwa upande fulani si haki kwani na sisi tuna sheria na kanuni zetu ambazo tunazitumia uwanjani, lakini pia hadi hivi sasa hakuna ushahidi wa kutosha ni vipi wamekutwa na tuhuma za upangaji matokeo.

“Sisi kamati ya waamuzi, tupo tayari kuwasimamia bega kwa bega  iwapo kama wenyewe wanaona hawakutendewa haki na wakakata rufaa, lakini wakiomba tuwasimamie katika hilo tupo tayari,” alisema Chama.

Hivi karibuni Kamati ya Nidhamu ya TFF chini ya Makamu Mwenyekiti wake Wakili, Jerome Msemwa, iliwafungia maisha kutojihusisha na mpira wa miguu mwamuzi wa mchezo kati ya JKT Kanembwa FC v Geita Gold, Saleh Mang’ola, kamisaa wa mchezo huo, Moshi Juma pamoja na mwamuzi wa mchezo kati ya Polisi Tabora dhidi ya JKT Oljoro, Masoud Mkelemi na mwamuzi wa akiba, Fedian Machunde, waliofungiwa kwa muda wa miaka kumi  pamoja na kutozwa faini ya shilingi milioni kumi kila mmoja baada ya kukutwa na hatia ya upangaji matokeo kwenye michezo hiyo.

Speaking of Liverpool, Benitez was there for six years before joining a slew of clubs, including Inter Milan, Chelsea, and Real Madrid. He's now settled at Newcastle for a three-year deal that pays him handsomely.

Ofisi za TFF jijini Dar es salaam.

TAASISI ya Kuzuia na Kupambana na Rushwa Nchini (TAKUKURU), imesema inazo taarifa zote juu ya tuhuma za rushwa ndani ya Shirikisho la Soka Tanzania (TFF) na tayari imeanza uchunguzi.

Kwa zaidi ya mwezi sasa kumekuwa na tuhuma za rushwa ndani ya shirikisho hilo baada ya kumalizika kwa mechi za mwisho za Ligi Daraja la Kwanza Kundi C zilizohusisha timu za Geita Gold, Polisi Tabora, JKT Kanembwa na JKT Oljoro.

Suala hilo limeifanya Kamati ya Nidhamu ya TFF kuwafungia maisha na kuwasimamisha kwa miaka kumi baadhi ya viongozi wa soka na wachezaji.

Aidha baada ya adhabu hiyo, juzi kwenye mitandao ya kijamii zilisambaa sauti zinazodaiwa kuwa za baadhi ya viongozi wa TFF wakipanga matokeo ya moja ya mechi hizo.

Akizungumza na gazeti hili jana, msemaji wa Takukuru, Tunu Mleli, alisema taarifa wanazo na wanazifanyia kazi.

Kamati ya nidhamu ya TFF chini ya Makamu Mwenyekiti wake, Jerome Msemwa iliwafungia kujihusisha na soka maisha viongozi saba wa mchezo huo kwa kuhusishwa na upangaji matokeo katika mechi za Kundi C.

Mbali na kufungiwa kwa viongozi hao kamati hiyo pia imefungia wachezaji wawili na waamuzi wawili kujihusisha na soka kwa miaka 10 kila mmoja huku wakipigwa faini ya Sh milioni 10 kila mmoja.

Fernandinho hit a deflected equaliser as Manchester City snatched a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

City looked to be running into trouble at the Parc des Princes after casually allowing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to cancel out a Kevin De Bruyne strike and falling behind to an Adrien Rabiot tap-in.

But after Ibrahimovic continued to atone for an early penalty miss by heading against the bar, Fernandinho took advantage of some poor PSG defending to net a vital second away goal.
