These stats prove Marcus Rashford is ALREADY Manchester United's most important attacking player

  • The teenage sensation scored his seventh goal of the season against Aston Villa to continue a fantastic run since breaking into the first team

Marcus Rashford is having the season of his life.

Well, it is his first actual season as a top flight footballer, but the Manchester United starlet is absolutely smashing it since breaking into the first team.

He's already a huge hit with the Red Devils fans, not just for his goals but f or turning down Liverpool as a kid to wait for the nod from United.

And now he's one of - if not definitely - United's best striker. His latest goal was a clever finish against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, his seventh goal since his debut in February.

And thanks to Squawka Football there are some pretty damning stats that pretty much prove the 18-year-old is ALREADY United's best forward.

He's scored four goals from his last five shots, which is a stat Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial can only dream of.

Also he's now scored as many goals in the first half of games at Old Trafford (3) as the rest of his team-mates.

And when compared to lowly Aston Villa's scoring exploits this season...well, there's only one winner.
